Meet Jeanne
I am a licensed psychotherapist, providing remote, individual and group therapy expertly attuned to the needs of professional adults and college students. I am based in Houston, Texas and the San Francisco Bay Area and offer services online in California and Texas.
About Me
Hailing originally from the east coast, I received my education and first established my practice in San Francisco, CA. I lived in San Francisco and the SF Peninsula for about 15 years, with physical office locations in Burlingame and San Mateo, CA. To my surprise, I found a silver lining in the COVID pandemic and discovered how effective, useful and convenient online therapy has been for my clients. I now provide all individual therapy sessions online and enjoy returning to the Bay Area 1-2 times per year to offer in person session opportunities, groups and workshops.
I now live in Houston, TX and have happily expanded my practice to serve both the CA Bay Area and those in the Houston and Austin, TX areas. I also offer groups and workshops online and in-person in Houston.

My Practice
I own and operate Jeanne Sutton Therapy full-time. I have been in private practice since 2015 and I feel very lucky to do the work that I do with my clients.
I bring to my private practice the invaluable experience and training from my early years as a therapist that makes me well informed to support the diverse needs of my clients. I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings, providing therapeutic services to adults in an inpatient hospital, in community clinics, and residential treatment centers. I also worked for 7 years as a member member of the treatment team at El Camino Hospital in the Behavioral Health Services Intensive Outpatient Programs, in Mountain View, CA.
Other things I love
- I’m passionate about yoga and meditation.
- I believe in the importance of social justice and value being an ally for those in the LGBTQ and BIPOC community.
- I enjoy the arts, participating in all things creative, and I regularly spend time learning and reading, traveling, connecting with loved-ones, and being in the great outdoors.
