Jeanne Sutton, LMFT - Burlingame Therapist - Teletherapy in CA

I provide online psychotherapy sessions throughout Texas and California, conveniently located wherever you are!

Sessions are conveniently located, in whatever private space works for you!

My office has been remote since the COVID pandemic. Many of my clients are located in the SF Bay Area and in Harris and Travis County in TX. Sessions happen via HIPAA compliant online-video platforms (like Zoom) or via phone by request.

I offer online and in-person groups and workshops yearly in both the Bay Area and Texas.

Scheduling & Appointments

Individual Psychotherapy sessions are held within the standard 50-minute “therapy hour.” Longer sessions up to 2 hours in length can be discussed and scheduled in advance.

Therapy begins with sessions scheduled on a weekly basis. Regularly scheduled weekly psychotherapy sessions help clients progress on their goals while staying engaged with their growth process as they build on the skills learned in therapy. At times, therapy can be set up on a bi-weekly or monthly basis once you feel you’re making progress towards your goals.

Insurance & Policies

Insurance

I am an Out-of-Network provider for insurance companies. If you have PPO Health Insurance, a health savings account, or a medical reimbursement account through your employer, you may be able to get reimbursement for your sessions. I am happy to provide you with a statement for your reimbursement. Contact your insurance company for more information regarding your coverage.

Confidentiality

I legally and ethically protect your confidentiality as my client. No information will ever be released without your written consent except where necessary by law.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
